Summit Natural Gas Regulator Stations

DOC was selected by Summit Natural Gas of Maine to install four natural gas regulator stations. DOC managed construction of these stations from the ground up. Each station is equipped with a water bath heater and over pressure protection devices. The Madison regulator station is capable of providing 860,000 cu ft/hr to consumers. Waterville, Skow-Nor-Tee, and Skowhegan stations are capable of producing 540,000 cu ft/hr to the communities they serve. Each station provides regulation of the fuel through monitoring systems, allowing for uninterrupted service in the event maintenance is required.
