About Us

Daniel O'Connell's Sons offers clients construction management and project planning services backed by 125 years of experience. We are not, however, an ordinary construction manager. We are uniquely focused on planning and implementing our clients' most challenging projects - ones that are technically complex or require exceptional engineering or management expertise. We also understand how to manage these complex projects while respecting the people, activities, and landscape surrounding our work.

Our Tradition

DOC has deep roots in all types of construction. We take particular pride, however, in meeting the technical and logistical challenges of our assignments. We've gutted and rebuilt a four-lane bridge from the water up while traffic continued to travel across the bridge. We've quietly rebuilt a library around studying students and replaced load-bearing walls in a high-rise building while it remained occupied. Quite simply, we've faced every construction challenge imaginable, and succeeded.

Our Employees

We are well known and respected in the industry as a dedicated group of professionals who love to build. We currently employ more than 60 salaried professionals and nearly 100 hourly field personnel. We are distinguished by the range and depth of in-house technical expertise we offer clients. Our engineering and estimating departments can deliver comprehensive project budgets, critical path schedules, and logistical plans for the most sophisticated construction challenges.
