Marist College Natural Science and Allied Health Building

Daniel O’Connell’s Sons served as the construction manager for this 59,000 sf academic building that houses two new Health Science graduate programs and current undergraduate science programs that include Biology, Medical Technology and Athletic Training.  The newly constructed Natural Science and Allied Health facility contains state of the art technology and equipment serving spaces for a cognitive computer and research lab, a gross anatomy lab, surgical simulation and exam rooms, classrooms, a lecture hall, multidisciplinary wet and dry labs, as well as student lounges and office space. This Robert A.M. Stern designed building captures the signature Marist College façade with a pre-cast concrete wall assembly with a factory applied stone veneer. The fast track schedule for construction demanded unique and calculated management techniques to deliver the project in just under 13 months.
