Daniel O’Connell’s Sons has managed the renovation of several residential colleges at Yale, including Silliman College, Pierson College, Calhoun College, Jonathan Edwards College, and the Hall of Graduate Studies. These fast-track dormitory renovation projects were all carried out during three-month summer breaks. Careful logistical planning was provided to ensure the tight deadlines could be met. The extensive interior renovations included upgrades to the safety and control systems, interior finishes, and asbestos and lead abatement. DOC managed five of these renovation projects simultaneously.
