WMass Women’s Correctional Center

The Western MA Women’s Correctional Center (WMWCC) housing unit addition is a pioneering project for DCAM and the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office, because it integrates the following design and construction delivery processes: Chapter 149A CM @ Risk, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and Building Information Management (BIM). The facility is located on high ground between Center Street and Interstate 91 in Chicopee, approximately ½ mile south of the I-91 / I-391 interchange. Vehicle access to the facility is from Center Street
