UMass Studio Arts Building
Daniel O’Connell’s Sons collaborated for the sixth time with the Gund Partnership to build a consolidated facility for the Art Department on the flagship campus. The Studio Arts Building is a 47,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility which includes instructional space for a wood and metal shop and teaching studios for painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. Individual studios for faculty and graduate students will also be program elements. Other components include meeting and gathering space, with selected faculty and administrative offices.
