Rowes Wharf
A 15-story mixed use development project totaling 665,000 square feet, Rowes Wharf was built largely on piles in Boston Harbor. The project included construction of the prestigious Boston Harbor Hotel, luxury residential condominiums, prime office space, below-grade parking garage, and marina facilities.
Under the direction of DOC’s project management team, this project pioneered the use of up-down construction in the United States. This joint-venture project with Beacon Construction Company was honored with the prestigious Build America award by the Associated General Contractors of America.
