Quannapowitt Corporate Office Building

This four-story, 168,000 sq-ft building complex includes office work areas, a cafeteria, exercise facilities and a parking garage. Designed by Jung/Brannen Architects, and located in a designated flood plain area with an extremely high ground water elevation, the building is supported by precast concrete piles with a floor storage area under the first floor slab. The Beal Companies, developers of the project, required completion of complex work on a fast-track basis, with overlapping design and construction phases, sophisticated scheduling, and multi-phased bidding.
