UConn Gentry Building

The Gentry Completion Project houses the Neag School of Education at UConn’s Storrs campus. Work included extensive renovation to its classrooms, offices, laboratories and other departmental space. The building was erected in two parts: the original 57,995 GSF building in 1960 and a 42,000 GSF addition in 2004. At the time of the addition, little was done to renovate the original building. The renovation project encompasses the installation of a sprinkler system, all new windows, new MEP systems, cosmetic changes, and other programmatic changes to accommodate the program. There was also some work in the addition to allow for connection of utilities and addressing other code compliant requirements.
