Massachusetts Venture Center
This project involved the construction of a sophisticated technology park and office center adjacent to the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Monarch Place
This urban, mixed use development project totaled 869,000 sq-ft, with a 28-story office tower, parking for 240 cars, and a 275-room Sheraton Hotel.
NEPOOL Headquarters
This project included a 24,000 square foot addition and renovations to an existing 35,000 square foot two-story office building.
Northeast Plaza at State House Square
DOC served as construction manager for the interior demolition and reconstruction of this mixed-use complex.
One Commercial Plaza
This 763,000 square foot project consisted of a 27-story office tower with an attached parking garage. DOC served as general contractor in a joint venture with O& G Industries.
One Financial Plaza
Seventeen-story multi-use office tower totaling 372,000 square feet with underground parking garage. DOC served as general contractor for the project.
Prospect Heights
Complex includes 96 units of subsidized elderly preference housing and handicapped accessible units in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Quannapowitt Corporate Office Building
This four-story, 168,000 sq-ft building complex includes office work areas, a cafeteria, exercise facilities and a parking garage.
Rowes Wharf
Under the direction of DOC’s project management team, this project pioneered the use of up-down construction in the United States. This joint-venture project with Beacon Construction Company was honored with the prestigious Build America award by the Associated General Contractors of America.
Sheraton Hotel
A part of the Monarch Place complex, this 270-room hotel includes a health club, racquetball courts, banquet facilities, pool, restaurants, and underground parking garage.
Sycamore House
This Complex includes 94 units of subsidized elderly preference housing and handicapped-accessible units in Western Massachusetts. Buildings include common areas for planned social activities and health clinics as well as 24-hour emergency services.
Ten Canal Park
Located in the Lechmere Canal area of Cambridge, this six-story office building was constructed with a steel frame and brick exterior.
Tower Square
In the heart of downtown Springfield, MA this building remained occupied while DOC managed renovations to this two-level retail arcade and food court. Other improvements included replacement of the exterior facade and extensive structural demolition.
Transportation Building
In the heart of Boston, DOC constructed this 620,000 sq-ft building with office space and below- grade parking for 500 cars.
Uniprise Servery Renovations
At the start of construction a temporary food service and dining area was created adjacent to the site to maintain uninterrupted service throughout construction.
Winthrop Building at 7 Water Street
Complete restoration of the facade of this historic nine-story, century-old building including replacement of the brick-work, cast iron, terra cotta, structural steel, and all windows.
