This exciting new facility is currently under design by Raphael Vionly Architects with Buro Happold Consulting Engineers. The Center will be housed in the heart of the campus in a new 42,000 square feet facility containing wet and dry laboratories, offices, classrooms and public space, including Laser Lab, NMR Lab, Instrument Centers, a Fish Facility and Environmental Rooms. The preconstruction process represents a collaborative effort with the architects and engineers to coordinate, budget and provide constructablity reviews very early in design. The design of the lab spaces is so "cutting edge" that many components are not yet UL-rated.
