Daniel O'Connell's Sons will collaborate for the sixth time with the Gund Partnership to build a consolidated facility for the Art Department on the flagship campus. This will be a 47,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility scheduled for completion in early 2008. The project will include instructional space for a wood and metal shop and teaching studios for painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. Individual studios for faculty, individuals and graduate students will also be program elements. Other components include meeting and gathering space, with selected faculty and administrative offices.
