Amherst College Geology and Natural History Museum
This 55,000 sq-ft brick, stone, and terra cotta building is currently nearing completion on the East Campus of Amherst College. The Natural History Museum integrates storage walls to create a mix of exhibits, displays of mammoth, mastodon, and Irish elk specimens. The new Geology Department building will house teaching laboratories, student study and research spaces, classrooms, and a multidisciplinary GIS laboratory.
