Estimator
Responsible for estimating quantities of material and related items for bids. Prepare take off quantities of materials for blueprints in preparation of job estimates; extend and check unit prices of bid items; contact subcontractors for bids; receive and evaluate sub-bid prices; examine field conditions for proposed job location. May deliver bids, attend bid openings and obtain bid results. Prepare building estimate area-cost analysis.

Distribute and record plans to subcontractors; assist subcontractors to resolve questions; interpret estimated items for field personnel; prepare critical path method for job operation sequence; prepare estimate summaries for Cost Department; and design temporary and permanent structures. May make field measurements and layouts on small jobs.

Education: Equivalent for four year college education Experience over two and up to three years

Project Engineer
Responsible for working on assigned construction projects including liaison with prime client, architect, and supplier, procurement of materials and supplies, placing subcontracts, and expediting and coordinating supplies and services during construction. Assist project management in building the project data base and tracking, logging, updating, distributing and corresponding on subcontract requirements, change orders, requests for information, submittal schedule, submittals of samples and shop drawings, shop drawing review, punchlists, and close-out issues.

Provide quantity take-offs for change-order estimates, contact subcontractors and suppliers regarding deliveries, schedules, availability of materials, pending estimates, and other project-related matters. Attend periodic meetings and training as directed. Knowledge of Prolog and Autocad a plus.

Education: Equivalent to four years college education Experience: over five and up to seven years
